WSS CHRISTMAS MADLIB
Have yourself a merry _________ Christmas!
Twas the Night Before Christmas?
A madlibbed mystery poem by: Alexis Dishman
Twas the night before National Meatball Day and all through the office,
Not a client was stirring not even the bosses.
All projects were finished and handled with care,
In hopes that David Hasselhoff soon would be there.
When out in the Fieldhouse there arose such a clatter,
Richard sprang to the window to see what was the matter.
Away to the kitchen, he crept in a flash,
Hoping not to get caught eating up his Nutty Bar stash.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof,
The cha-caw & gobble of each little hoof.
As Sheena fixed her hair and got it just right,
Down the chimney, MC Hammer came and gave her a fright.
He was bitter and slippery, a right jolly old elf.
And I pushed when I saw him, in spite of myself!
Lucas didn’t seem to notice, he was too busy designing,
A petite note to Santa, in his dim office lighting.
Meg spoke not a word, she was getting things done,
So, he filled up the stockings as she thought of a pun.
Placing his elbow aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the beanstalk he rose!
He sprang to his Sedan, and gave Cameron a cheer,
Telling him good job, and look forward to next year.
But I heard him march, as he drove out of sight,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Good-Night!
