NEW WEBSITE FOR BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF MUNCIE
June 01, 2014
NEW SITE, NEW GROWTH
Whitinger Strategic Services recently announced the launch of a new fully functional website for Boys & Girls Club of Muncie (www.bgcmuncie.org). The organization wanted a website that gave visitors a modern, more engaging user experience with the ability for easy access to the programs they offer, volunteer opportunities available, and information on the impact they make within the community.
Whitinger Strategic Services completely redesigned the website with features such as a vivid color scheme, a clean interface, and a navigation structure that will allow them to quickly and easily get to the content they’re looking for. Also, little additions of subtle animations such as parallax effects have been added to help give the site a little something extra. Not only has the design changed, but the back end architecture of the site has, too. The website is now fully responsive and will adjust accordingly to the device the viewer might be using. Whether it is a smartphone, tablet, or desktop PC, the site will maintain its look and functionality.
“It was a pleasure to work with Micah and his staff to create a sleek website design that matched their brand but is also easily utilized by viewers,” stated Whitinger Strategic Services Creative Director, Lucas Tetrault. “Because Boys & Girls Club of Muncie is so important to the quality of life in our community, it makes this project even more rewarding.”
The Boys & Girls Club of Muncie is a catalyst for civic engagement. They believe success is within reach of every child, and whole generations of children are inspired. They provide a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and hope and opportunity for children of the Muncie community. Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their full potential, as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
