Whitinger Strategic Services Works Designs New Website for Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana
September 30, 2016, Muncie, IN–Whitinger Strategic Services recently announced the launch of a newly redesigned website for Second Harvest Food Bank at curehunger.org. Second Harvest wanted to introduce their new brand with a modern, easy to navigate website that allows easy access to the many food services they provide in East Central Indiana.
Whitinger Strategic Services completely revamped the website with fresh copy and photography. The website includes a color scheme that compliments the new brand, along with an easy to use WordPress back-end, allowing content to be easily updated. It incorporates a very responsive design that enables viewers to easily navigate through the site from any platform, including desktops, laptops, tablets, or mobile devices.
“After going through a rebranding process with Second Harvest, we couldn’t wait to begin working on a new site for them,” stated Creative Director Lucas Tetrault. “We used original photography of their building and events to give a personal feel to what they do. With the new navigational format, clients and agencies can find their information quickly.”
Second Harvest Food Bank is a non-profit organization funded by philanthropic and community support. They are devoted to feeding the hungry, advocating for those with food insecurity and providing nutrition education in eight counties in Indiana. Second Harvest is a member of Feeding America, the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States.
